These terms
These terms cover your use of vora.qa. By using the site you accept them; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
Vora is incubated at Qatar Science & Technology Park in Doha and operates under a QSTP Free Zone Licence, commercial registration number 240351. In these terms, Vora, we and us mean that company.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data and forms part of these terms. We may update both; the date at the top says when we last did.
Using the site
Use vora.qa lawfully, and leave it working for everyone else. Do not try to break into it, do not scrape it hard enough to degrade it, do not submit other people's personal data, and do not send us information you know to be false. We may block access if you do.
Anything you send through our forms should be accurate and yours to give.
The waitlist and pilot requests
Joining the waitlist reserves nothing. It tells us you are interested and lets us tell you when Vora is available. It creates no contract, no order, no queue position and no obligation on either side.
A pilot request is an enquiry, not an agreement. Any pilot would happen only under a separate written agreement signed by both of us.
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, and nothing on it obliges us to supply anything to anyone.
Prices
We do not publish prices on this site. If you have seen a price for Vora somewhere else, it did not come from us. Any price will be given to you in writing, by us, for your specific situation.
What we say about the product
Vora is an early product, and this site describes parts of it that are still in development. Where we say something is in development we mean it is not available yet, and we cannot promise a date for it.
Energy figures on this site, including up to 40 per cent, are a design target and a ceiling. They are not a measured result and not a promise about your building. What you actually save depends on your equipment, your building, how you use it and the weather.
The savings calculator is an illustration. It is arithmetic performed on the number you type in, not a quote and not a forecast for you.
We work to keep this site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or free of errors, and we provide it as is.
This site is informational. Do not rely on it when making decisions about your electrical or HVAC installation; ask a qualified engineer.
What belongs to whom
The Vora name, the logo, and the text, images, designs and code on this site belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You are welcome to read the site, link to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.
Logos of publications and institutions on this site belong to their owners and appear only to identify them. Their presence does not mean they endorse Vora.
Links to other sites
We link to news articles and to other organisations' pages. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they contain or do, and a link is not an endorsement.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of this site, including lost profits, lost data or loss of business.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Availability
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this site at any time and without notice. We do not promise that it will always be available.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
